Since forming in early 2013 Charybdis Developments has quickly established itself as a first-class developer within the private property market in Surrey. Principally focused on high-end luxury homes Charybdis have consistently exceeded benchmark sales values for high-end luxury houses. With a strong client build and continued private commission works, Charybdis also completed another landmark commission on the exclusive Crown Estate last year and has 6 projects currently underway across North Surrey with a combined GDV well in excess of £60 million.

Headed by Managing Director James Prichard BSc Eng, Charybdis Developments team of experienced professionals calls on an unrivalled pool of experience in the construction of prime residential properties. That experience underpins our ability to tackle large residential projects that involve complex building techniques and engineered solutions. Often engaged at the planning stage of a project we will also draw on our experience to ensure that cost and time-effective proposals are evolved from the outset reducing risk exposure for clients and development partners alike in the construction phase of the project.
James Prichard can trace his passion for world-class projects back four generations to his Architect forefather Walter Hill whose projects included the American Church in Paris, the Royal Holloway College Egham and the remodeling of the Royal Apartments in Sandringham under the direction of Queen Victoria herself. As well as restoring many notable Cathedrals and Chapels including Canterbury, Salisbury, Winchester, St Georges Windsor and Eton College.
